This course gives you what most CLRT literature doesn’t — an actual implementation framework for the classroom. Dr. Sharroky Hollie’s approach moves beyond theory into specific strategies for validating, affirming, building, and bridging students’ cultural and linguistic backgrounds into daily instruction.

You’ll learn best practices for teaching academic literacy, vocabulary, and language development while creating a learning environment where culturally and linguistically diverse students thrive. The course also includes opportunities to develop your own CLRT strategies through research and integrate them directly into your teaching environment.
