Robyn Jackson breaks down what the best teachers actually do differently and distills it into seven principles that any educator can develop, one at a time. Her approach treats teaching expertise the same way we’d treat any other skill: something you build through deliberate practice, not something you’re born with.
You’ll examine how master teachers read and streamline state standards, use feedback effectively, and rethink the role of assessments in their classrooms. The course pushes you to evaluate your own routines and teaching methods against these principles and make targeted changes that move your practice forward.
About the Author
This is a graduate-level course intended for K–12 educators who have completed a bachelor’s degree. It is recommended that you receive board or district approval before registering with TPAI.
