Most PD leaves teachers to figure out implementation alone.
Our system extends support throughout the year, 24/7—giving teachers expert coaching when they’re actually planning lessons.
Hour 1: Self-Paced Course
Teachers complete focused, asynchronous training on evidence-based strategies and implementation.
~60 minutes
*No discussion posts, no group projects—just actionable, research-backed strategies educators will use immediately.
Hour 2: Guided Implementation
Teachers complete a required activity using the AI coaching system (Coach in Residence) to analyze real classroom scenarios, generate scaffolds, or plan implementation for their students.
~60 minutes
Year-Long: Ongoing Coach in Residence Access
After completing the 2-hour PD, teachers keep access to the coaching system whenever they’re planning lessons, adapting materials, or troubleshooting student challenges.
The above structure applies to all of our professional development offerings:
Help teachers confidently scaffold instruction, simplify complex texts, and provide language supports—while maintaining high expectations for all students.
What's included:
Equip teachers to extend learning, deepen investigations, and provide appropriate challenge for advanced students in general education classrooms.
What's included:
K12PD was built from real classroom practice, shaped by 25 years in K–12 education and seven years of teacher professional development design. Informed by experience in multilingual learning and gifted education, it was created to provide the kind of targeted AI support schools have been missing: practical, population-specific, and grounded in instruction.
Generic AI tools give general answers. K12PD is built differently. It combines structured professional development with coaching tools designed around specific student populations, including multilingual learners and gifted students. Teachers get both the instructional foundation and the ongoing support that reflects what those learners actually need.
There is no live-session scheduling to coordinate and no substitute coverage required. Teachers complete the asynchronous PD at their own pace, then return to the AI coaching tool throughout the year to support their students.
Support Beyond the Training
Teachers have ongoing guidance available as they plan lessons, adapt materials, and implement strategies throughout the year.
Grounded in Proven Practice
Instructional approaches are based on research-backed strategies—not generic advice or isolated tools.
Whole-Staff Access
One school license provides consistent access and support across classrooms.
Fits Real School Schedules
Completed asynchronously with no required meetings or schedule disruption.
Unlike a one-time outside PD session, K12PD combines a 2-hour professional development experience with year-long AI coaching access for teachers. Schools get both the training and the ongoing support — often for less than the cost of a single outside visit.
Both. K12PD is designed to support general education teachers in their daily instruction as well as the specialists who collaborate with them. The strategies fit naturally within core instruction, intervention support, and existing school structures, helping staff strengthen support for multilingual learners, gifted students, and other populations without creating separate programs.
K12PD’s coaching tools are purpose-built for instructional decision-making. They are not generic AI chat tools. Each coach is grounded in population-specific pedagogy, helping teachers choose appropriate strategies, understand why they fit a given situation, and create stronger supports for the students they serve.
The model is designed around that exact concern. Teachers use the coaching tools during real planning and implementation work throughout the year — adapting materials, building scaffolds, extending learning, and solving classroom challenges. Ongoing instructional use is the goal, not a one-time PD event.
Once your school is set up, you receive a teacher access link and a brief implementation guide. Teachers complete the asynchronous learning and access the coaching tools through a web browser on their own schedule. No IT integration, learning management system, or special software is required.
No. The learning is asynchronous, so teachers can complete it during PD time, planning time, or another convenient window. There are no required live meetings and no substitute coverage needed.
Yes. School access includes up to 25 educators for the full year, and new staff can begin at any point during that time. They can complete the learning and start using the coaching tools as soon as they are added.
The PD and the coaching access are designed to work together as one system. One-time training often does not lead to strong implementation on its own. Ongoing access helps teachers apply what they learned in real classrooms over time.
Yes. Schools can request a short overview to see how the system works and ask questions related to their own context and goals.
