Districts choose the delivery track that best matches their current level of AI readiness, starting with either Intro to AI or Differentiating with AI or moving up to a full day of professional development.
Each module includes about one hour of asynchronous coursework and about one hour of guided practice with the AI coaching tool. Pacing may vary by teacher, but each module is designed to fit within a standard PD day, staff meeting block, or implementation schedule.
Every teacher in the district receives 12 months of access to AI coaching tools for supporting multilingual learners or gifted learners, based on the track selected by the district. There are no per-seat fees.
No building-by-building purchasing and no per-teacher licensing. One district agreement covers all teachers across all buildings, with one invoice, one point of contact, and a simplified purchasing process.

Built differently than what most districts have seen
K12PD was built from real classroom practice, shaped by 25 years in K12 education and seven years of teacher professional development design. Informed by experience in multilingual learning and gifted education, it was created to provide the kind of targeted AI support schools have been missing: practical, population-specific, and grounded in instruction.
Generic AI tools produce general answers. K12PD combines structured professional development with coaching tools designed specifically for multilingual learners and gifted students, so teachers get support that reflects the students in front of them.
There are no live sessions to coordinate, no substitute coverage to arrange, and no building-by-building rollout to manage. Teachers complete the asynchronous PD within the district’s schedule, then continue using the coaching tools throughout the year.
K12PD is priced competitively with other professional development options, while offering more built-in follow-through than districts often expect, including year-long coaching access aligned to the selected track.
What curriculum directors ask
How does implementation work across a district?
Once the agreement is in place, the district receives a teacher access link and a brief implementation guide. Staff complete the asynchronous modules and use the coaching tools on their own schedule. No IT integration, LMS connection, or special software is required.
Can we start with one school and expand later?
Yes. Schools can begin with a single-building model, and districts exploring a broader rollout can discuss expansion options based on their goals, staffing, and timeline.
Who handles questions once we are live?
You will have a direct point of contact rather than being routed through a support queue.
Questions receive a same-business-day response for anything substantive, and district partnerships include a scheduled check-in during the year.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Purchase orders are accepted, and invoices can be issued against an approved PO with net-30 terms.
How are the coaching tools different from general AI tools?
The coaching tools are purpose-built for school use, not generic LLM access. Each coach is grounded in population-specific pedagogy so staff receive support that is more instructionally useful, classroom-relevant, and aligned to the learners they serve.
What does unlimited seats mean?
Any licensed staff member in the district can access the coaching tools during the term of the agreement. There is no cap on active users and no per-teacher billing trigger.
Can we see how this would fit our district before moving forward?

Is the content aligned to district and state expectations?
The ML module reflects widely used multilingual frameworks, including WIDA and ELPAC. The GT module is grounded in established gifted education research and practice. If your district has specific alignment requirements, those can be discussed before implementation.
