What separates highly effective teachers from the rest isn’t talent — it’s technique. This course is built around the research-backed strategies from Doug Lemov’s Teach Like a Champion, used daily by some of the most effective educators in the country. You’ll learn concrete, immediately applicable tools for questioning, pacing, classroom culture, and behavior management.

These techniques work across grade levels and content areas — kindergarten through AP Chemistry. You’ll explore how structure and joy reinforce one another, how consistency builds trust, and how high expectations combined with strong relationships create classrooms where students thrive. The focus is on building a cohesive, high-performing learning environment, not theory for its own sake.
