The social and emotional climate of your classroom directly affects how students learn — and your own stress and regulation play a bigger role in that climate than most teachers realize. Patricia Jennings draws on her research to show the connections between mindful practices, brain chemistry, and classroom dynamics, making the case that mindfulness isn’t a wellness trend but a practical tool for better teaching.

You’ll learn how to implement mindfulness in your classroom to create a healthier, more productive environment — for your students and for yourself. The course grounds these practices in neuroscience rather than abstraction, giving you a clear understanding of why they work and how to use them.
