Course Overview
The 4Cs of 21st-century education — communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking — aren’t new. Socrates was teaching the same ideas 2,500 years ago. 2015 National Teacher of the Year Shanna Peeples draws that line directly and shows why inviting student curiosity and inquiry into the classroom is as relevant now as it’s ever been.
Peeples is honest that building a culture of curiosity isn’t easy — it starts with examining your own classroom climate. You’ll learn strategies for creating an environment where questioning and inquiry are the norm, informed by examples from standout teachers across language arts, math, science, social studies, and fine arts.
