Why does a high-achieving student shut down when asked to be creative? Why does an apathetic student light up on a particular project? Sternberg and Grigorenko answer these questions through the lens of different intelligences and their direct impact on how students learn, perform, and disengage.

Built on Sternberg’s Triarchic Theory of Intelligence, this course introduces the WICS model — Wisdom, Intelligence, Creativity, Synthesized — and shows you how to use it in practice. You’ll learn how to design lessons and assessments that engage analytical, creative, and practical thinking skills, giving you a functional framework that changes how you think about teaching and assessing across all subjects.
